Jefferson W. Neal

President and Founder

Jefferson W. Neal is president and founder of Capital Management Consulting.  Jeff  earned his BS and MBA from Western Kentucky University; he is a native of Franklin, Kentucky and currently resides in Louisville. 

For the past 19 years, Jeff has assisted closely-held private and publicly traded businesses to access and maximize opportunities created by the strategic tax and investment alternatives markets.

 

Areas of concentration and expertise predominately include risk-mitigation and strategic tax planning opportunities created through IRC Section 831(b) small captive insurance companies, as well as those created by more tradition large captives.  Based in Louisville, Kentucky, Capital Management Consulting also has principals and offices in the following markets:  Lexington, KY; Cincinnati, Columbus, Cleveland & Dayton, OH; Pittsburgh, PA, Orlando, FL and Houston, TX.

 

Capital Management Consulting, through direct best-in-class provider alliances, provides its clients with a turn-key approach to captive development and management, including the following professional services:

P. Andrew Logan, MAcc

Andrew's experience with captive insurance began in 1994 while working for a physician in the off-shore realm.  He describes it as the "Wild, Wild West" days of captive insurance.   It is, therefore, not by coincidence that he should return to the field--this time focusing on the domestic domiciles.


Andrew joined CMC after his return to financial consulting, following a brief hiatus during which he earned a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) degree from the University of Virginia's McIntire Business School in Charlottesville, VA.  Prior to that, Andrew also earned his MBA from UVA's Darden School, as well as his BA in liberal arts from UVA's College of Arts and Science.

 

Since that time, Andrew has completed a 14-year track record of successful start-ups, turnaround / workouts, acquisitions, and structuring equity- and debt-backed financial transactions, enabling companies to aggressively grow top-line revenues.  Unique experiences encompass innovation consulting, public accounting, raising venture capital, service-oriented company operations and project management of capital-intensive organizations.

 

Proven strategic planning, financial modeling and project management skills have led to the successful growth and diversification of a variety of start-ups and rapid-growth enterprises.  He also has extensive hands-on experience predicting industry trends and identifying opportunities for investment and new business growth.
